Moreover, it’s hard to find out the right shop to work on your Mercedes. At G & G Autohaus in Las Vegas, NV, you won’t have to worry about any of that. We are a shop dedicated to all things Mercedes-Benz. Since opening our shop, our team of ASE-certified technicians has made it their passion to provide the best car care to your vehicle. Because of this, we know just what repair to do for your Mercedes. Not only that, but we’ll give you dedicated maintenance, so you will have a timeline of when to bring in your vehicle for service. Speaking of service, one of the main repair jobs on any Mercedes in the A and B-service. While they are part of the basic services, they are vital to keeping your vehicle on the road for many years to come. To follow, we’ll give you a look at what goes into each service, and how it affects your vehicle.

A-Service

The A-service acts as the first main repair for your vehicle. It’s performed every 10,000 miles, or 1 year, during your vehicle’s life. This can vary based on the vehicle’s age and condition. Included in the service is an oil change and filter replacement, brake system check, tire check, and fluid level check. During this time, the technician will make notes on your vehicle, and take photographs during their inspection. If they find any of your fluids to be low, they will refill them based on manufacturer-recommended levels.

B-Service

The B-Service offers many of the same maintenance repairs as the A-service, with the addition of replacing the cabin and engine air filter. This service occurs every 20,000 miles or two years, alternating with the A-service. If you own a diesel, your supply of AdBlue fluid (used to reduce emissions) will be refilled, along with the replacement of the fuel filter. The technician will complete a thorough check of all of your vehicle’s systems, and make notes for your review. For those that have an AMG vehicle, it may require additional service needs specific for that vehicle.

While each of these services comes with a recommended range, we can’t stress enough it’s all dependent on how you drive your Mercedes. If you don’t drive very much, this is a once-a-year expense. Each service we do is backed by a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty. Getting these services done when they’re needed will go a long way in preserving your vehicle and lessening its cost to maintain it year-over-year.
